    Re: Dot Net Script 1.32 not showing up

    I'm trying to get MMF2 to change some text when this Immediate Condition is called by the .net object.

    This is the line in C#:
    Code:
    MMFInterface.Conditions.CallImmediateCondition("setText", new string[]{"red"});
    In MMF, I have on Immediate Interrupt "setText":
    -Change Text to: ConditionAParam$( ".net Script", "setText", 0)

    It compiles, but a Runtime, I get the error:
    System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation -->.... Parameter count mismatch.

    Your quoted code looks good, perhaps when you're called whatever method in the code from mmf which does CallImmediateCondition, you're not giving it the correct number of parameters.

    EDIT: hmm i've just hit a similar, problem, let me fix it.

    Is this something akin to the LUA object? More powerful?

    Ganryu, not really. The LUA object uses lua as a scripting language. dotNet really COMPILES C#/VB.NET code. You could use any libraries for those languages if you wish.

    Re: Dot Net Script 1.32 not showing up

    Is it capable of directly accessing data from the game, such as object coordinates or does it need workarounds for that? Ie can you specify objects and stuff from within the code?

    Yeah.
    MMFInterface.Conditions.CallImmediateCondition("se tText", new string[]{"red"});
    That MMFInterface features all these functions.
    Well, enough of that. If you more questions, ask in the official extension thread.

    Yeah you can access object coordinates. Check out the examples for it.

    Re: Dot Net Script 1.32 not showing up

    Alright, my previous bug is fixed now. But I found another, I believe:

    This is the function in C# that is called by MMF2:
    Code:
    public static String HI(String message)
       MMFInterface.Conditions.CallImmediateCondition("setText", new  string[]{"red"});
       return message;
    }
    The CallImmediateCondition does what it's supposed to in MMF now, but the "return message;" line actually returns nothing.

    If I remove the CallImmedaiateCondition line, the message is actually returned. But if that line is there, nothing is returned.

    Example of bug: http://puchisoft.com/GetReturn.mfa

    Hmm you are right. However I debugged the extension and everything is returning fine as it should be... I'm think this has somethign to do with how the sdk retrieves parameters for expressions... I'm not sure what i can do about that
