    Using dotNet - Threading

Very simple example to show you can use threads with the .NET extension from Greyhill.

DotNet code with increment a counter up to 100000 either in the MMF thread (will freeze app until complete) or as a separate thread which allows MMF to carry on running (will be able to move the active object still)

Click the buttons to start either mode then try moving the active with the arrow keys.

Yep threading will be pretty useful when programming with the dotnet extension.

    A multithreaded server!
Somebody should make one of them.
Something that communicates with moosock or oinc.

    Re: Using dotNet - Threading

I'm sure such a server will show up pretty soon, since there are many .Net examples of such things... I'd be more than happy to drop Moosock then !

I think I might try a server + client in dotNet. Shouldn't be so hard to do
