    Clicking on overlapping objects

I have multiple active objects grouped together by a qualifier. When the user clicks on one of those objects I toggle a flag.

    Code:
User clicks with left button on "qualifier"
    -> toggle flag of "qualifier"
This works fine, except for when the objects overlap. How do I ensure only the top object gets its flag toggled?

im thinking your only work around is going to have to check for every object to guarantee you are getting the right one.

    Re: Clicking on overlapping objects

    Try:

    * User clicks with left button on "Group"
    > Set Global Value A to Fixed("Group")

    * Fixed value of "Group" = Global Value A
    > Set Global Value A to 0
    > "Group": Toggle internal Flag 0

Yea I make it work with a workaround somewhat like yours, thanks Werbad.

I really wish Clickteam would add an option to do this properly tho. Shouldn't be too hard.

    Re: Clicking on overlapping objects

Are these all the same object or different objects?

If the same, you can do this...

    User clicks on Object A
+ Pick only one of Object A
    > Set Flag 0 to on

If it is different objects, place them all into a group identifier and then it's pretty much the same...

User clicks on Object Identifier A
+ Pick only one of Object Identifier A
    > Set Flag 0 to on
