One other feature would be welcome... set a kind of flag of an object that makes the cursor changes (to a hand, like on internet explorer) when the cursor is over the object.

There is a cursor object and you can take control and change it when you want it to change.

Using either any of the built in cursors or draw/import in other.
It can even do animated cursors.

Yes Jeff, and I use it, but with the proposed way, you woudn't need to program on event editor for every interactive button that you have on a frame

Could you add the objects that need to affect the cursor to a qualifier and then check to see if the cursor is over any objects with that qualifier?
