    Iconlist Question

This is probably a pointless question as it's most likely impossible, but just in case: is there any way to get rid of the top bit that just displays the currently selected item? It's just a bit irritating and I have no reason to use it.

    Thanks.

    Re: Iconlist Question

While insane, it might be possible by placing the iconlist on a separate frame which is too small (cutting off the top bit) and then embedding it using a sub-app and communicating using the Global Function Object.

    Re: Iconlist Question

Oh, good idea. Talk about thinking outside the box. I'll give it a go.

Edit: Works fine Joshtek! Thanks a lot.

    Re: Iconlist Question

But maybe Clickteam can change this object to allow us to not display this part of component. :p

    Re: Iconlist Question

I know that raytace! I was just testing the object. I gave iconview a go and I'm afraid I do prefer iconlist, so even if it means having to use that awkward sub-app method, I'll do it, but...

    I third that.

Edit: I'd also really appreciate it if someone could check my other thread on MDI. Look at the video, and you'll agree it's weird...

    I FOURTH THIS!!!!

having the option to hide that top part would be soooo useful!
Add a third choice simple, dropdown, LIST)

Or add a vertical scrollbar to the iconview object!

    Re: Iconlist Question

I fifth this. I'd really appreciate it if the option to change it to a NORMAL list with icons!

Oh, and the option to change the background color would be nice!
