    animation bug? Really annoying!

Hi, For some reason... when you have the animation object set to platform movement, and u get it collide with a active picture to stop the movement, it doesnt!

Well it does for about half a second but if you keep the arrow key down it then just carries on threw the platform???

    Any work around?

you should be using "Is overlapping" and not "Collides with" if you're making a platform

Hmm but even with an active object, set so if it overlaps an active picture then to stop the movment, but it just falls threw it slowly!

maybe try it on yours to see if its not just me!

but on mine when the active or a animation object is set to check if overlapping it just hits the platform, slows down and just falls threw te platform?

    Cheers

You might have to FORCE the object to not fall through.

Take how much gravity is pulling on the object as it's falling through and apply an equal negative amount to the other direction.

    Example

    Increment Y pixels by Y+30 every 00:00:01
Decrement Y pixels by Y-30 every 00:00:01 IF object is overlapping picture object.
