    Re: Question about INI

Okay, so what do you guys think is the best way to save games with INI; Like what do you guys think would be the best place to save the INI to, then whatever the best way of creating that folder when somebody install it on their computer is. If I can just find a decent way to have it create the folder or some other way that it would work on anyone's computer, no matter how messy or tiny it is, I would go with it. Any info would help a lot. Thanks.

    Re: Question about INI

are you planning on having it run from an installer?? if so i recommend a prog call setup2go which will allow you to create an installer definng all possible options it allows you to create program groups and shortcuts. it defines file associations and even has a section for registry keys and other such stuff.

Sorry CT but this one helluva powerful install creator

    Re: Question about INI

As long as it prompts for an admin login instead of failing if someone isn't admin on the machine. I only run as a "user" so that crapware can't install without my explicit permission. Programs that won't allow me to login to my admin account to install them are very annoying.

There is an option which says abort if user does not have admin privileges but that is a check box.
