    Pixel shader request.

    Hey! I need a pixel shader that works like this. Here's the input image:



    The checkerboard is not part of the object though, it's the background. The input image is always monochrome. What I want to do is to use the black/white image as an alpha channel, so that the white becomes fully transparent and black becomes fully opaque. The colour of the object should be determined by colour selector.

    If that colour is read, the result would in other words look like this:



    The purpose of this pixel shader is to be able to store my images as external 8-bit monochrome files, this will save plenty of space.

    Already done with the Complex-shaders pack.
    Apply the shader "Mask alpha" from "Complex-softwares\Masks\"

    Shouldn't it be the opposite? Black is transparent and white is opaque?

    Shouldn't it be the opposite? Black is transparent and white is opaque?
    Normally it should, but not in this case. The game revolves around dark shapes on a brighter background, so when editing the image files I logically want to draw black shapes on a white background.
