    Bezier Curve

Here is the Bezier Curve Extension...

    Actions:

Reset - do this before adding points, whenever you are changing points locations
AddPoint - add another point to the curve.

    Expressions:
GetPointX - returns the curve X at time T
GetPointY - returns the curve Y at time T

i didn't have time to put an example...

T must be from 0 to 1 decimal number, so you can for example start from 0 and every program loop increase T for 0.001.

    Here is the Download Link

    Nice and simple
The Move by Bezier object can do this too, but it's a lot more straight forward with this extension.

    Re: Bezier Curve

I forgot to write that the maximum number of points is 10... that's because I was using the binomial formula (not the recursive one) so it had some problems calculating big factorials (Factorial of 13 is greather than it fits to integer), so I limited that to 10.

Don't even try adding more at the same time, I didn't even bother to properly prevent bugs in cases greater than 10 (after all, this was made in an hour)...

But if you use it below 10, you should be fine.

Please, make an edit-time (by Compiling "release") AND a runtime version (by compiling "runtime").

And you should use Release_Small and Run_Only_Small for smaller mfx files.

What is that supposed to mean, btw?

Anyway, I will update this with appropriate builds when I'll be close to the VS again...

Btw, I understand the "_small" issue, but is there any other diff than these 30 kbs?

I mean, don't want to sound wasteful, but is this a big deal if an extension is 150 kb or 50?

    Any explanation would be useful.

    Re: Bezier Curve

This is weird... I've installed the mfx's to the right places, but I can't find it on the Extensions list. It definately loads it when MMF2 starts (I see Bezier.mfx appear on the load splash thing), but it's not on the list :/

    Re: Bezier Curve

    Anyone else got this problem?

I could try and change the UID, maybe it's clashing with some other extension you have. I don't have this problem... That is really strange.

Are you using b247? It doesn't work with builds older than b247?
