    Installed Extensions...

    Hi,

I have recently reinstalled my PC and installed MMF 2 with all the uodates including Java and HWA beta. Alot of the extension I had before no longer show up in the list in MMF now when I try and add them to a frame.

They are all placed in the Extensions and Runtime directories as before and all worked perfectly when I had my lasy install, which also included 248 and 249 Java and HWA...

I have reinstalled twice, tried installing all the updates in sequence (rather than 239 - 248) and have still not got anywhere.

The strangest thing is that some 3rd party extensions do show and others don't. For instance the Bezier that was recently released doesn't, but Sphax Kernel and FileFolder do.

Any suggestions? I'm slowly starting to feel crazy!

What OS? Got any anti-virus running? What if you try to open app containing an extension which isn't listed?

Have you tried using fusion updater to update them? See if that fixes it.

    Re: Installed Extensions...

I have for the ones available on fusion updater, but some of the objects are beta's or custom made for myself.

Before that bandwagon is jumped on please be aware that many of the objects are publicly available...

The only third party objects I see to work are Sphax ones and Ini++

Try updating again and ensure MMF2 is not running, and then after check the version in the about box.

    Re: Installed Extensions...

Problem solved, spoke to some of the developers who make my custom extensions and they have found issues with VS08 and compiling...

Don't ask me what this all means, I use MMF cuz I am a programming dunce. They assure me that they will spread the word and make sure this is a noted issue for future compilations.

Would it only work if you had the latest .NET Framework?

    Re: Installed Extensions...

I use VS6 to compile MFX for MMF2 (because the compiler of VS6 make some very light and fast DLLs comparing to VS2005 or more) but be sure that before installing HWA and Java, you have updated your MMF2 version to the very last stable version (and not beta one).
