    Recording Audio for playback

    Hello folks,

I know there is a microphone object, and I'm wondering if it is capable of recording audio for playback in MMF at a later date.

can you record .wav files with it? If not, what is the best option?

    Thanks!

It does have the option however i don't think this is a real answer to the problem... the object works on one of three of my computers... Even after i build the exe, making this object pretty useless for an actual game. )=

I dunno why this is always the answer to help post's.

But basically all we can do is try nag jamie to get his object (Microphone object) working.. but he's having enough trouble ATM with live receiver... then there's memory object 'that'll be a doosie)

    Re: Recording Audio for playback

I have added an example file to the file archive

It uses the MCI object to record sound

it is a piece of my current, large, soon to be complete project(s)
which I enjoy, yet am eager to complete (soon)
