    Using MooSock......

I'm having some trouble using MooSock in vitalized applications. Here are some events I have:

    +Button clicked
-Connect to "flufferfluff.com" on port 80
    +MooSock: On connect
    -Send Text Line "GET http://www.flufferfluff.com/games/level_add.php?....etc."
    -Send Text Line "User-Agent: HTTPTool/1.0"
    -Send Text Line ""
    -Listen on port 80

    +MooSock: On received
-String: Set alterable string to RecvLive$("MooSock")

When MooSock receives the message, the string shows this:
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK

Do you know what that means? I feel really stupid right now. This only happens in vitalized applications. Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: @ Burfelt
I know you told me to ask you, but I figured I may as well ask the Clickteam community.

    Re: Using MooSock......

why are you sending; "User-Agent: HTTPTool/1.0"?

Anyway that means ' The request has succeeded. ' however it should also send what you want. are you only receiving once?... because HTTP needs to be received in chunks; which means receiving hundreds of times.

    Re: Using MooSock......

Then why did it work in the built .exe application?

EDIT: Either way, can you tell me how to just get the contents of the php page?

    Re: Using MooSock......

Maybe there is a bug in the vitalized version of moosock, at a guess it's not giving you text that was received before the connection was closed.

Oh, and don't do a "listen", you'll receive the replies without it, and it could also be causing the problem (is it allowed in vitalize?). Only use "listen" when you are expecting other people to connect to you.

    You could try:
    +Button clicked
-Connect to "flufferfluff.com" on port 80
    +MooSock: On connect
-Send Text Line "GET http://www.flufferfluff.com/games/level_add.php?blahblahblagh HTTP/1.1"
    -Send Text Line "User-Agent: HTTPTool/1.0"
    -Send Text Line "Connection: Keep-Alive"
    -Send Text Line ""
    +MooSock: On received
-String: Set alterable string to RecvLive$("MooSock")

This will keep the connection open, you'll have to close it yourself after you're finished.

    You should also be sending:
-Send Text Line "GET /games/level_add.php?blahblahblagh HTTP/1.1"
    -Send Text Line "Host: www.flufferfluff.com"
    instead of:
-Send Text Line "GET http://www.flufferfluff.com/games/level_add.php?blahblahblagh HTTP/1.1"

    @Dynasoft:
OK. I did what you said, but now all I get is this:
    Code:
    Date: Tue, 13 May 2008 20:18:23 GMT
    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.5
    Content-Type: text/html
What I should be getting is something like "Level Uploaded" or some other message like that.

    Re: Using MooSock......

I fiddled around with it some more, and I got it to the point where it will work fine for debugging purposes. Hopefully the live receiver will be vitalized by the time I release my game later this month. My original plan was to use the live receiver. Thanks for the help anyway!!!
