Problem with Pasting Actives at start of frame

Hi, I'm having a problem pasting actives at the start of a frame. Specifically, I don't think you can paste an active with a level transition in. My guess is this is a bug, but I may just be doing something wrong. Also using the latest build (247).

pasting is temporary, so that might be the case

    try Add Backdrop instead

neither worked ): It works fine if I put it in an always event, or anything that starts after the frame transition, but just not during it.
