In a lan network, the admins have stopped internet access via port blocking but have left a single/few ports open so that msn can function.I need a program that i can run at the lan that talks to a sister program on my home computer. at the lan i send the sister program webpage requests which then relays it back to me so i can view it. i need it for general email, google and mabye youtube use if possible. are there any users on this forum capable? i would really apreciate some help here as im at a loss and it's really important.

If they've only allowed access to msn's servers then you wouldn't be able to do it anyway. If they've allowed access to msn's port but on any server (this is much simpler to do, and is fairly common), then you "just" need to set up a tunnel on that port. It gets more complicated if you're behind NAT (router) at home.

Making a HTTP (web page request) tunnel is well beyond MMF, especially if you need to support submitting forms (for logging in to a website), cookies (for staying logged in) or images (sending binary data from moosock is flakey).

Are you sure? MSN can use an HTTP proxy these days...

agh same problem here at school. One app running on my home computer would recieve URL then access it then send the HTML code to the other app. Then it would ptocess the code and display the page. But you would have to find out how to make flash/cookies, stuff like that to work

Okey, let me clear this up... i don't know where school came from it is infact a public lan.

The problem / idea is that becase there are several internet ports open for msn and some online games that it would be possable to route port 80 infomation thru an mmf application to another site which reroughts it on port 80 then returns the result back on the game port, which inerprits it to a browser, back on port 80.


so what we really need is a proy which can which ports several times...

It's possable but there is alot to do.
