    Active with Additive blending question

So, I have an active that I want to fade in using the Fade transition. I also want the object to use Add blending. When I combine the 2, the object appears pure white at the beginning of the fade in. Does MMF support Additive blending AND Fading at the same time? Or is there something extra I need to do?

Does anyone know if the Add ink effect works with a Fade transition?

    apparently it doesn't

i'd almost say to change the semitransparency manually but MMF doesn't support multiple ink effects (however objects in the HWA version has a separate "blend" property that's the same as semitransparency, and should allow for a manual fade with the Add shader)

Thanks for the heads up. It might be a good idea to disable the option to use a transition then if an ink effect is turned on?

The way I like to use, to make ink effect work/blend against backgrounds is animate them using alpha transparency.

Re: Active with Additive blending question

I was hoping to get the glowy effect of Add but have that object fade in and out. I think I will have to resort to using only alpha transparency now.
