    Deactivating Groups + Spread Value

Am I correct in assuming that you cannot activate/deactivate groups for individual instances for AI characters? I would think group deactivation would cause events contained within to stop functioning globally.
I have not been activating/deactivating groups for my AI that uses the Spread Value function to handle multiple instances, but because groups are so useful I thought I would find out for certain.

Re: Deactivating Groups + Spread Value

Groups are general you can't close a group for an instance of an object.

Yet you can do basically the same by setting a flag or a value ( Attacking=1 ok Fleeing=0 or anything). Since you talk about Spread Value, maybe you are using a Fastloop ? You can disable/enable groups within the fastloop, for example you can open a group that contains some more "On fastloop", and those will be executed (same thing with disabling of course).

    Hope this helps
