Amazing, thank you!
Amazing, thank you!
You're welcome
ANOTHER new version! :P
"Mirror" now features "Mirror X/Y" and "Breaking point" parameters.
"Rotation and Sub-Pixel positioning" now removes the "our of texture" lines automaticly.
File attached! Have fun.
Edit: Fixed the example file.
This is awesome! Thanks.
One question, will subpx positioning be able to handle collisions correctly?
Unfortunately not.Pixel shaders just manipulate the display, not the collsion mask. You can use a mask active though, which you rotate with the MMF angle function. That's about 1 px "collision difference" to the displayed object, but it's alright.
Another possibility would be MMF-collision free movements, for example Phizix.
I am going to make this post sticky for a while.
Maybe, at some point in the future, we can have shader pack links on the sidebar or some other, easy way to find them without looking too hard![]()
Would it be possible for shaders to be changed through the event editor? It would be very useful.
Actually... I'm pretty sure they already can...
Check out the effect menu on objects in the event editor of the HWA beta.
Yes, they cna, I guess I worded that wrong. What I meant was change them through an expression. Also, you only get the 8 default shaders in the event editor.
No, you don't get the 8 default shaders in the event editor, check the "effect" menu. You get all of the available ones but you can't change them through an expression.
Ok, new version 1.6
I removed a parameter from "Gradient" (Multiplier A), which didn't do anything. (Thanks to Dynamite, who made me find it)
New shader: Color Shifting
Shift (X/Y) All color channels, RGBA.
You could create that 3d effect (for those glasses) by shifting red horizontally. Ok, not really, but it's close :P
