    Re: Mac Version

I know about VMWare, Bootcamp, Parallels... but, the person has to also buy a license of Windows on top of that.

Running applications natively is what my wish is.

The Java runtime is the hope of that. As it matures and more objects become Java-ready, we'll have a better handle on what's possible cross-platform.

    Re: Mac Version

Sorry to necro this old thread, but it seemed better than a new thread asking the same question. :-)

Some MMF users in another forum said a Mac native version of MMF is in development. Is that true, and is there an ETA for beta or release?

    Thanks!

JAVA, Flash, HWA.. etc etc need to be completed first. We do hope to have a MAC version in the future, but there is no news at the moment.

Yeah, we also hope to have a version (in the future) that scans your brain and automatically creates the game you were imagining.

A Mac version of MMF would take tons of programming while no other progress could be made for updates of the Windows MMF. My point is that it's unlikely a Mac version could be created within the next few years. But I'm not Yves, so I wouldn't know.

    Lolwut.

These days coding for Mac/Windows/Linux at the same time is pretty easy. A Mac version of MMF (as in it runs on the Mac and loads the same mfa files as the Windows version, with the mfa files being readable by both version back and forth without problems) is already confirmed for later on; there is no reason to speculate on this.

A Runtime for MAC is confirmed for later on? I didn't see this.

yeah but this is guaranteed? AFAIK, there is a lot of stuff that Clickteam is looking forward to implement in a near future (XNA, Iphone, etc).
