Load screen or no load screen

Hi, I've seen some games with loading screens. Are they used to keep the game with many active objects from lagging? I could use one in my game if that helps to do just that.

Re: Load screen or no load screen

Well, not exactly. On a MMF game, the only reason one would want a loading screen is if you have to dynamically populate a region and it takes more than an instant to do so. They are also used, but less often, to load music, videos, or download something. It does not, however, stop games with many active objects from lagging. Try using HWA, maybe that'll help the lag issue.
