MMF2 - Does Datagrid Save Alternate Values?

Could someone confirm if the datagrid saves alternate values as well as the spreadsheet cell vaules?

I save the datagrid and then reload it. The cell values appear but if I had set an alternate value to say 6, then when the datagrid is reloaded it is reset to 0 the default value during reload.

Example: Let's say I have added 6 records in the datagrid and I want to save this number for reference.

I don't know if anyone has ever encountered a limit on the columns and rows.
