    "Compiler" example

    Hey. I made this on request by Falkon
    What it does:
    Attach a string to an exe and read it in itself. The "Compiler" file includes the Compilation one using "extract binary data".

    How to use:
    Simply compile Compilation.mfa, then you can compile Compiler.mfa, you could delete Compilation.exe now. It's not needed anymore and included in the compiler. If you'd change Compilation.exe's name, make sure to change it in the binary data tab and the events, too.

    Oh, and here's a little example on what's possible using lua! simply press "Check", then "Compile", a Output.exe file will appear in the same directory.

    Create MMF3 in MMF2 even with this software, that just isn't possible.

    Hey thanks! This is awesome, and just what I needed.

    Anyway, theoretically, a simpler game-making application could be made in MMF2 by using LUA script as the "software core".

    EDIT: Also, would it be possible to be able to "import" the binary code of an image into a similarly-created executable using MMF2?

    wikidweb: yup
    You could also add multiple files.
    It would work like this:
    Append file1
    Append file2
    Append file2 length
    Append file1 length
    Append number of files

    That's how you could access multiple files, a bit tricky though

    Dragonguy, you have to realize that anything is possible. You should know that, given that you're trying to make a pseudo-3D wolfenstein-type game in a 2D game environment.
