    XML Parser

I'm trying to use the xml parser extension but having great difficulty simply loading an xml. Is there anyone out there who knows how to use this extension. I have run searches here, checked the makers website but there seems to be no help anywhere. Cheers in advance.

    Re: XML Parser

Okay well I found another extension called 'EasyXML' which claims to be 'easy' but the xml I tell it to load fails everytime. Has anyone any experience with easyXML?

    Re: XML Parser

There is an example file that comes with it and seems to load files fine.

If you download the lastest version here:
    http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=17&Number=25177& Searchpage=5&Main=2282&Words=EasyXML&topic=0&Searc h=true#Post25177

Hopefully that can help you out.

    Re: XML Parser

Cheers. Well I got the latest version and checked the wiki, but the examples given seem to load only an internal xml (defined within mmf2) rather than an external .xml file.

    Re: XML Parser

Does the xml file have a doctype declaration at the top? EasyXML doesn't seem to like those.

    Re: XML Parser

After a few tests it looks like EasyXML loads ANSI encoded xmls fine but not UCS2 Big Endian which is what I'm currently after. Does the encoding matter?

    ...MMF doesn't support unicode. :P
I don't think it would be possible to handle unicode files with an extension, cause MMF handles these DLLs (extensions).
