Depends, do you use an always condition to spread the value?
If so then it will always be 1.

If you only spread durring creation of the object then it will hold the value onece given and then...

    Event Condition
-Set (any val or counter) to a number you know will be the highest (99999)
    -Loop # of objects

    On Loop
If AltVal A = # of objects-LoopIndex("LoopName") (starts with the highest number)
    If AltVal A < Value
    - Set val to alt A

Not tested but off the top of my head that should do it.

Well I already did something similar. I just think it's a horrific way of achiving it. I think picking an pbject by the smallest/biggest value should be a feature really.

(Being able to pick by the smallest value just like that would really help because this is large enough in itself. What I am actually trying to achieve could do without this picking method in the middle of it as things get overly messy)

Well you could do the loop and check val A and just delete the object on the first loop completed then stop the loop. Thats another way to do it but I think you want to stop the loop part and I am not sure you can do that. Sorry
