How do I read from a file?

Hey guys, first time posting here.

I google'd through the forums and didn't see anyone ask this before, so I'll assume it's easy to do and I'm just turned around in my head.

The help file says Ini's are limited to 64k. I've used them in the past to handle settings from time to time with success. Now I'm looking for something with more capacity.

I thought it'd be simpler to use a custom file structure than a handful of arrays. So far I can create files and append text to them. TGF2 handles all that easily. Now I want to get that text back out.

    Ideas?

I think (not sure if it's available for TGF2) one of the bonus packs has an extension called the "Named Variable object". That's probably exactly what you are looking for.
