Screen shaking?

Ok, im working on making all the characters abilities for my RPG.

One of the most basic attacks is Power Strike
( Same as basic attack but more powerful)

Since it IS more powerful than a basic attack, i want to graphically portray that. I want to make the screen shake violently when the player executes this attack.

Is there anyway to easily implement this?

You can use the windows control to move around the entire application window.

i dont want the window to move, i just want the virtual frame to move around, like an earthquake is happining.

Then you would need to have the frame bigger then the application window and create some events to shake it using the scrolling actions.

Scroll left 5 pixels then scroll right 10 pixels and so forth

I would make an active object (or more then one) and have them be the 'cameras', and then scroll the frame according to that...(instead of the main character being the center of attention...

(Have one follow the character always or a certain way, have one be the earthquake, another one could be something else...)

In Chapter 6 (Acolyte of Darkness), after a certain amount of damage is done, the screen shakes and the blocks explode.
