IconView Object - Making it Transparent?

I would like to make my own background for the IconView Object instead of having a blank white. Any way?

Well, you can make the entire window transparent using the Kernel Object, but I think that's the only way to make it transparent.

Yes, but the Kernel Object is Dev only, and I just want to make the IconView background transparent, no the whole window.

    Then no, I don't think there's a way...

Anyway, are you trying to make everything, including the icons, transparent, or do you just want the colored background transparent?

I don't think you can make the background transparent. I would try using fastloops and make your own icons.

    Just the colored background..

I would try using fastloops and make your own icons.
    How can you use fastloops?

Re: IconView Object - Making it Transparent?

Well it depends on what exactly you are trying to do. If you want to list the files on the hard drive in a certain folder, you need to make a fastloop go for the number of files in the folder, and then you would need to have a picture for each type of file.

I'll make an example if you'd like. And if you would not like me to, I'm doing it anyway .
