hello. i am experimenting with a "click spacebar to move to next txt page" thing similar to a video game. i thought about using a edit box with get list number X if alterable value is X. it didn't work (obviously) so i need a bit of help. i just want to show one line of txt at a time. TY.

The store of lines of text in a list and retrieving them in the Edit box sounds like it should work. Can you describe what actually went wrong?

i have 2 line of txt, A and B. first code is press space and alterable value equals 0= add 1 2o alterable value and get line 1 of list. second is the same, but with alt values 1 and 2 respectively.

Just a question, did you accidentally put the action to set variable? Because that would filp you around from 0 to 1 only.

Sorry, you mean does it start at one or zero, because it's the latter.
