    Old Guy's Star Game Concept

This was a neat Idea and I had some spare time on my hands while thinking. About Zombie game levels... [laugh]

Here is the idea Old Guy had which is/should make a pretty neat little game. [smile]

Either that file is bugged on my install, or i'm not getting the point:

    Frame 1: Is completely blank
Frame 2: Is empty except for a star that speeds up as you click on it (?)

I think the idea is that the star will bounce around a level and you have to use your mouse skills to make it get faster.

I think the object is too small though, it's impossible to hit when it's moving fast.

Yeah it has 5 minutes of playtesting, it was a 5 minute design. But it's open source. [wink]

It's a skeleton of a program you'd have to go to the Technical forum and read Old Guys post about this to understand it.

Then there is the Event editor on the second frame that, explains the code... [confused]

Mumbles to self, no wonder no one finishes anything... Where is the insight...

That StarGameStarter.mfa is just what I wanted. It works just fine, if you use Frame 2. Frame 1 is empty. Thanks. I never thought of making it into a Group. It works just dandy. However, my failure led me down another path, and I made a Four Screen plus End screen game. Each frame is faster than the last one till you get to the end. Lots of soundand fury, plus extras for show. I had my neighbors girl (6) play it and she loved it. OldGuy

    Cool, glad you liked it.
Your other idea is great too, because you used what I like to call a work around! [laugh]
