Please help - Cannot receive messages

This could very possibly be a bug in ONIC's compatibility with Windows Vista. I opened up Jeff's example chat made with ONIC. While each player can connect and sign in, their name is not added to the player list for the other players. Furthermore, when a player sends text, all other players' games crash. What could be the problem here?

It's not related to Vista. I think Jeff's example was created with an old version.

You could create a new application and just use Jeff's example to learn how to use it in general, without using it directly.

I actually did make my own originally, but I did not mention it for the sake of keeping my post simple. When I saw that it was not working, I opened up Jeff's example to check.

Maybe this will be of use. I added a string to display error messages from ONIC. When I try to connect to a server I get this error:
[color:#000099]"Error binding port: The requested address is not valid in its context."[/color]
When I sign onto a channel I get this error:
[color:#000099]"Got invalid client ID: No error"[/color]
When I disconnect after sending text to the server and trying to receive it, I get this error:
[color:#000099]"Error receiving: A blocking operation was interrupted by a call to WSACancelBlockingCall."[/color]

Additionally, when I send text to the server it does not come back. However, when I send text to the channel, the OTHER users' applications crash. I have tried 3 servers and have had these problems with all of them.

When did you download OINC? I have updated it recently to fix some issues very similar to yours.

Yes. I downloaded it yesterday, which is the day I made this topic.

Right.. I think an update is probably due, then. I just need to sort out some final issues and then I'll upload it either tonight or tomorrow night.
