    Cloning Frames

I'm trying to create a multilevel game. Level 1 is complete and I want to create level 2 by cloning the level and modifying it slightly. When I clone it and start modifying it, both level 1 and level 2 are modified??? Doesn't seem like the intent of he clone function... What could I be doing wrong.

    Thanks

Explain your problem a bit more. The clone function should do what you would expect: clone it, then let the cloned frame be edited on its own.

Sounds like you're modifying global objects?

    Re: Cloning Frames

I made sure that my objects are not global and they weren't. I tried testing a brand new project and cloning the frame wih one object and it is not a real clone. If you place one variable in the object and change it on one frame the other will be modified also - strange. I believe it is a bug.

I decided to take another route and build my levels within the frame. Thanks for he quick replies.

    Re: Cloning Frames

I just tried it (by either copy/paste or clone frame) and it doesn't happen here, so I guess you're doing something more than just cloning a frame.
