Let user resize window, having content resize too?

So I want my application to start out as a 800x600 window. Then I want the user to be able to resize the window, and have the content of it resize too.
I was sure there was an example of how to do this at one point, but I searched the forum and found nothing.

"Resize display to fill window size" doesn't work right in my case.

I've tried setting the window size and frame size to 3000x3000 (what I assumed to be the biggest resolution anybody would have these days), and then resizing the window to 800x600 at start of frame.

That kinda works, but it makes me look at the center of the huge frame, which is no good. I need to see the top-left of the frame, since that's where all my objects are.

I figured, hey, this is seems like a Scrolling issue, but making the scrolling center on 0,0 did nothing.

Re: Let user resize window, having content resize too?

I hate to be a bumper, but this is a very basic feature that at least 9 out of 10 applications out there have.

Let me restate what I want, quickly:
The User Resizes the Window -> Buttons, Strings, and co. are resized inside the window to fit the new window size.

I don't care if I have to do all the repositioning and resizing of objects manually. I just need a pointer in the right direction to get MMF2 to not put the frame off-screen when I make the frame big enough that it can be resized up to higher resolutions.

Yet another task for the window control object! Does this help?

Re: Let user resize window, having content resize too?

Thanks to both of you! Great examples!

My main issue was that I while I was using Window Control, I wasn't using ClientWidth("Window Control").

I have one more issue: (EDIT: Fixed it, see below)
This method works when the user resizes the window by the edges. How do you also make this work if the Window is Maximized?

It seems simple enough. I tried EVENT:"Window is Maximized+Only once if event loops", ACTION: Same actions as if window was resized manually.

The frame does resize, but not correctly. There is a huge off-frame area visible at the top every time. Screenshot:

It's like the size is right, but the Y location of the frame is wrong... AHA!

Fixed this issue by also doing "Set X Position of Frame to 0, Set Y Position of Frame to 0".

    Right then, carry on.
