platform jumping problem

when holding down left or right arrow keys then tapping
the up arrow key 3 times,my character flies upwards,the comes down,and while he's in the air I can keep tapping the up arrow key (while holding down the left or right arrow key) and he keeps flying upwards.

I use button 1 (shift) for jumping.

how do i fix this?

Are you using the included (super-buggy) MMF2 Platform movement? If you are, use the Platform Movement Object.

In any case, post an example in the File Archive for us.

I'm using the included mmf2 platform movement,and when i tried making an example,there were no problems!

so I guess I'll just use the platform movement object
