    DESTROY doesn't always work

    Has anyone encountered that the DESTROY doesn't always work. Sometimes objects remain visible however no other code effects them (as though they aren't really there)....

    I haven't run into that problem, unless my coding has errors. I use a disappearing animation sometimes. It cleans up itself after the animation runs.

    Sometimes when the coding events are not run in proper order (something preventing the destroy event) this will cause problems.

    I had this before. I thought it was fixed. Some objects seem to turn into "ghost sprites" that are rendered but not objects anymore. Just another little annoyance.

    Maybe you can try to strip down the game to as small as possible while still getting that bug - and then send that to Yves or Francois to get it fixed.

    I have seen it only in MMF1.5, never happened to me in MMF2.

    Had it happen before, but that was with the picture object.

    Yeah I believe I had something similar happen to me, but like you said, happened to me in 1.5 not 2 to the best of my knowledge. Never figured out how to fix it though.
