    Please do not choos a proprietary (even if it's popular) format for files, you'll single out users which, IMHO is a very bad thing.


    Please choose a standardized file, such as .obj, or .collada, or .fbx. Anything else would really be a pain to use or convert. During conversion you could get flipped polygons, distorted textures, vertexes not in their original position... All sorts of problems can go wrong when converting, and choosing a standardized file type will go a long way to avoid problems.

    Hey, sorry, that's not possible (yet)... It's not that easy to implement in the OBJ loader that I use. I have already started working on it though.

    Just hijacking the topic a bit with a quick experiment anyone can try:

    Create a new mmf app and place two opengl objects in the frame, head over to the event editor and make an 'always' event where the first opengl object will draw a primitive cube. Now run the app. The question is, which of the two opengl objects will draw the cube?

    An imaginary cookie to anyone who can figure out why this is.
