    Swaying Grass

Here is a quick file I whipped up on Multimedia Fusion 2, after reading a post about swaying grass somewhere, I think in the HWA Object section.

Use your mouse wheel to increase/decrease the wind speed, and use your left mouse button to create new grass blades, which will be created on the X coordinates of your mouse pointer.

    Enjoy.

    No extensions required.

Oh, if you want to use it in your own game you might want to tweak it a little, I have included wind speed in the engine in case it comes in handy for any reason.

Awsome! I was looking at the code and it took me a moment to realise you were using the sinwave funtion, just wasn't clear due to the nice fact that you added in events for when the player trams the grass. Nice example! More simple than expected, should be an easy soulution for now.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

looks good, but the framerate took a pretty big hit - not sure how useable it would be in an actual game?

Me neither. If you wanted it in your own game, you'd have to tweak it a little, for example: If you wanted to put this into your game and your game happened to be a scroller, you'd have to make sure that only the grass blades visible to the user are being changed, otherwise there'd be result in serious lag.

Very nice I love it! Do you want me to give credit if I use it in a game?

No. Feel free to use it for what ever purpose you like, it's educational after all.
