    platform movement problem again

hey guys, i am making a side scrolling platformer, i have made a new animation for a FAST run, basically what i want to happen is while holding down the RIGHT key, the player moves right and displays the NORMAL walking animation....however i want the player to move faster and display the new FAST RUN animation while holding down fire button 2

I managed to get the movement ok, and he moves faster while holding down fire button 2, BUT when i try to think of ways to code it so it displays the FAST RUN animation, all that happens is the characture displays only ONE fram of that FAST RUN animation, (so in other words it looks like hes moon walking along the floor)

    can anybody help?

Only run the animation if the animation isn't already playing by testing "Is animation --- playing", because if you keep running the action to run the animation it will keep starting over at frame one.

Does that help? If you need to know where to find the conditions/actions let me know. The red X means negated, to do that right-click a condition and select negate.

Could you upload the application to the File Archive section of the forum? If it's based on my tutorial I'm sure I can find a way to get what you're after.
