quicker way to copy and paste

hey guys im used to having the original games factory where it was soooo much easier to keep pasting your backdrop objects, all you had to do was click on the object and then it left click to keep pasting them in.....BUT now on GF2 you have to either drag the object from the menu each time, OR click copy then paste, is there an easier way?

You can also use Duplicate from the right-click menu, and clone will create new objects with the same properties and everything. After duplicating you can move them around or leave them as be.

Or you can hold down Ctrl while dragging an object to create a duplicate at the dragged position.
