btw i left the connect to 127.0.0.1 change it to whatever u need to

Instead of immediately joining, use
On Name Set
- Join Channel "Whatever"
Tested it, works.

well i've tried this before now when i do it, i dont receive the error but instead, it just is stuck on "connecting..." BUT when i changed

+*On channel join* -> set string "Connected"
to *on channel create*

It worked, so this whole time i guess i was confusing onchanneljoin and onchannelcreate lol just to make sure though, OnChannelCreate does mean you've also joined the channel as well, correct?

On Channel Join is only triggered when the channel is not created.
On Channel Created is triggered regardless.

Unfortunately, On Channel Join (currently) is always triggered - No matter if you actually created the channel or just joined it :S

i just did a quick test to confirm the answer to my question.. THANKYOU so much for your help, guys! Ive been making games with MMF for about 6 years and ive made hundreds and hundreds of applications and games, and I've only consulted the forum twice. lol Seems stupid when I've had so many small questions over the years and spent so much time trying to figure them out myself when i could have just come here and got help from great people like you guys. The new build of OINC (which will be released in the next couple of weeks) only has "On channel join" anyway, just to avoid the confusion.
