    Zoom in and out

    Hello,

I really need to know or even have an example of a zoom in and out feature. I'm talking about using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

If any of you know how to do this then I will thank you and put you in the credits of my game!

    Re: Zoom in and out

Thanks pixelthief, but there seems to be a few problems when I zoom out.
The window zooms out from the top right corner when it should zoom out from the center (I'm guessing I can fix that one).
But the second problem is that 1 quarter of the screen on the left isn't zooming out.

Also, you can't zoom in Closer.

    Re: Zoom in and out

Dynamite: If you run frame as opposed to Application frames it's going to mess up. Are you doing that?

Also, if you want it to 'go closer' (I'm assuming you want it to zoom in from start of frame, as well as out), set Alterable Value to a higher number in the Start of Frame event.

It does in fact zoom out from the centre - notice that the effect you're after will occur if you move your character to the centre of the map. It's the frame's edges that cause this.(As far as I'm aware, changing the virtual height/width won't make a difference.)

You could try positioning the display from a centred active.
