    Using Unicode in MMF2

Here is my article showing how to use unicode characters in MMF2. I made a PDF and uploaded here so we avoid broken link with images, etc.
Hope this answer the unicode question once and for all until MMF3 comes out.

You need to follow the guide in the PDF.

I've read the guide, and I have to say that this is a very nice little workaround
I guess we'll have to wait until MMF3 for the language to carry over other machines though - with this atm you'd have to tell your users to do the same, no? I think, anyway.

    Regardless, good work~

Thanks, I believe that japanese users, chinese users etc, probably have their windows set this way out of box in order to display the characters correctly. This is just a setup for English version of Windows to display asian characters.

Also, as long as MMF continues to grab fonts from SYSTEM, these steps will always be necessary. These steps won't be necessary if MMF3 comes with an internal engine to wrap up the fonts I think.

Just for info we are actually working on a Unicode version of MMF2, you won't have to wait for MMF3. This version should be released within a couple of months.

Yves, do you have any info about what will be the difference between the Unicode version of MMF2 and this workaround? Thanks for the great news.
