    How can I get a counter to appear over an active object used as a hud?

    Turn off "display as background" in its property.

    It doesnt work. When I run the level, its still behind the active object.

    Put it on a layer in front of the active object.

    What's the display type set to in the counter? It won't show up if it's a horizontal or vertical bar with the default (huge) range.

    It horiizontal bar but its range is from 0 to 100, starting at 100.

    Ok i figured it out. I had the min and max values switched. God what a stupid mistake. Thanks for the help though.
