    how do you stop active from moving while jumping?

    hi, im very new to this software ive only been using it for 3 days or so, i have a few questions, how do you stop an active from moving left and right when jumping, i want to disable that ability or make it less effective like you average platformer.

    what are "Alterable values" when i click on an active, in the properties windows i can mess around/create "Alterable values" yet i have no idea what they do.

    how do you add punching/attacking animation? that option doesnt seem to be in the active editor.

    On the default platform movement, it's very difficult to customize the movement. However, the use of Alterable Values may help you with this movement.

    Alterable Values are essentially variables that can be assigned to each object. For a movement that only allows your character to jump straight up, you would set, for example, Alterable Value A = X("Player") while player is on ground and then make X("Player") = Alterable Value A when he is jumping.

    To add a punching/attacking animation, you usually need to make one. Some pre-built objects have it, but not all. The item in the list that represents punching/attacking is called Shooting.
