Multiple instances with platform movement object?

So I have a type of enemy that's controlled with the platform movement object, and if I place more than one instance of this enemy, all but one stay still.

I've gotten detectors on all of these enemies by spreading values and made it so when one is jumped on, only it dies. It seems like it should apply the same way here, but I can't get it working. I've tried putting as many instances of the pmo down as there are enemies, I've tried all kinds of stuff with alterable values determining pmo input, and I've gotten nothing.

Do I have to create several different platform movement objects for each type of enemy I want to use it?

If I remember correctly there was an example somewhere, let me find it.

Whoa, thanks. That's so much simpler than what I was about to try.
