Welcome to the forum. You can make the oject global and put it frame 1 also. Then you can code for it.

In the object's properties. But you will still need to put the code that affects it in both frames. Making it global makes the object retain its properties/variables/strings/etc across frames.

You can put code into it's behavior. That will then work in every frame.

I think you have to place an instance of it in frame 1 first.

Re: Help with programming ..... I am

Do you have the intructions booklet? I think it'd be handy for you to go through that first... assuming you haven't.

Here are the basics, each frame (level, whatever you want to call it) has its own code for the objects inside that frame. So if you have an object in frame 1, only the code that refers to it in that frame will apply to it. This includes behavior code, the frame code, and global code.

Making an object "global" means that if you have the same object, in two different frames, if you edit one property in one frame, all of the other duplicates change with it.

An objects behavior is its own code that always applys when the object is in the frame. So if we had Player 1 with his behavior completely coded all you'd have to do is duplicate it in the frames that the Player is supposed to exist. The object's behaviors are editable in its properties, right click it and click on propertys and then click on the tabs until you find qualifiers and behaviors, click on new then edit and tada you are new editing the behavior of your object, oh and you can make multiple behaviors and name them based on what they do.

I'm sorry if this isn't clear or if I sound like an idiot because you already found out how MMF2 works. If you need more help I'm sure someone else can give a better explanation.
