    How to make invisible objstacles.

    Hi,

I have been designing top views of rooms in Bryce 3d (with furniture and lighting etc) and then rendering them as a picture and using them as my backgrounds for my levels.

but obviously the player can walk over the furniture. how can I draw an invisible obstacle over the furniture so it stops the player from walking over it but also doesn't show up on the screen.

I tried adding a transparent active object but that didn't work.
    maybe I did something wrong.

I've done this with active objects. Just make like a solid block the size of whatever you need, then uncheck visible at start. Then in your events set up the collision events.

It can be done with backdrops too. Set Ink-Effect to semi-transparent and Coefficient to 128. Pretty sure this is what Dynamite meant.

That would be a better solution I think, in terms of resources. As backdrops don't take up as much as active objects.
