    Unicode support?

Someone sent me a Bulgarian translation for my application yesterday. When I test it, all text on application window becoming "???????".
So I installed Bulgarian unicode tables on my computer. It works, but only worked on buttons, while the string object only displaying weird characters.

When Unicode support will be added on MMF2? Or at least how to fix this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

There is no Unicode support planned for MMF2. It would require a total rewrite of the code, I believe.

I don't think so. I'm asking this just for making sure.

I hope build 249 will be released soon, with couple of new features.

No date yet for the Unicode version.

To fix this issue on your machine, I think you can edit the Windows Language settings and choose "Bulgarian" as "Language for non Unicode applications", that should work. Or you can also install MS AppLocale and run your application through it in Bulgarian language. More info here : http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/apploc.mspx

I think I should take a look at AppLocale.

    Re: Unicode support?

This is why when we make our games all text is rendered into images, and for languages that don't work with MMF we do not allow players to choose their name, and instead use a save slot system.
