I think it would have been *much* more useful for us to be able to just rename qualifiers ourselves (and preferably asign them at runtime). I don't really care about the icons.
Still, good work on the rest![]()

I agree it would still be cool to be able to have mfa specific qualifiers, maybe have a rename function? I too don't care about the icons.
Clone for applications in Dev is fantastic, especially with the new mobile capabilities. That is an extremely welcome new feature.
Q: How and were is the report that was mention generated? I haven't cloned an application that needed it yet. It would be useful to know.

Thank you Yves for the 249 update.

Mobile Phone: Samsung U600
Resolution: 240x320
Application: x1 Quick Backdrop (Black), x1 Active X (White Loading Text)
Files: Test.jar, Test.jad
FINDINGS:
Can copy the files over and open the JAD file to choose installing.
File information is wrong when i open the JAD, i choose to display Company as "Test" but it shown "Company Here", version and Name displays correctly.
When i choose Yes to install i get the error "Java error, invalid format"
Am i doing anything wrong? i just updated and built a very basic app at the start just to test it
Please for the love of god make the new qualifiers optional. In my current project I keep a .txt file with references to what each qualifier does in my game with numbers. Now active backgrounds are classed as "Waveforms" or something equally pointless.
This is completely unusable for me. I'm going back to 248 until it's fixed.
Just stick an option in app properties or MMF properties that lets you revert back to the numbered recycle bins.

I have internet now in my hotel room.
MAC: you have two possibilities to make MAC applications. First, a standard Java standalone will work on the Mac. Second Mac Standalone (Java) is a Java application bundled in a Mac executable. You have to enter a directory to save such an application, as Mac applications are in fact a directory with all the elements of the application in it. It wont work if you save it to the desktop. On the Mac, the system detects the .app extension and presents the folder as one file.
- Sound formats in Java. For the moment WAV only.
- Saving player data. I think the best solution is to use the INI object, or maybe the array object. Note that these obects do not save on a mobile phone.
Awesome update Clickteam. You released it on my birthday and it was quite a present. ^_^

And is there any way to make something saveable in a phone application?Note that these obects do not save on a mobile phone.

WOW!!! What an update [laugh]!!! Thank you for fixing the Storyboard Editor scroll position, I really do appreciate that. And the new maintain ratio width and height... FANTASTIC!!!! Great to know my games will now ship and play as I made them and won't be stretched on widescreen displays. And as for the new Mobile and Mac build options... WOW!!!!Originally Posted by Yves
I notice these new power features are MMF 2 Developer only which I'm also really pleased to see as it will help to promote the Developer version more. I think these new features are enough to entice MMF 2 standard members to make the upgrade.
