There is a known crash in this version, it crashes randomly when lots of rotating objects are colliding together.
If you think it's a different issue, send me your application (remove everything you can so that it's not too big, if possible).

Ahh right - I'll experiment with it a bit more.
EDIT: I got rid of the Direct Show object and it runs fine again now.
FURTHER EDIT: Yeah, the only thing that's the problem now is with level2 where (you guessed it) asteroids rotate and overlap eachother is that the level crashes all the time after about a minute.
I disabled the group that creates the asteroids and the level runs AOK.
So I guess the point still kinda stands about the stability of this latest release, even if it is a known, narrow issue.
Perhaps we could have an update in the coming months just to put this one thing right?

Maybe its known bug, I dont know:
When subapp has checked Display as sprite, when scrolling it often turn to white. Any chance that subapps in HWA will be useable as they used to be?

Could you send me an example? The only issue that has been fixed in sub-apps in the new build is with the "stretch frame to object size" option.

Yves: sure, I will be able to send it tonight. However, the subapp contained active objects which disappear when the main app scrolled.
It also appeared that scrolling in subapp doesnt work - I coudlnt have subapp 600x600 displayed as 300x300 with Display as a sprite option.

btw what does the "Display as sprite" feature actually do? I mean, it doesn't allow me to order it as a sprite (aka put objects in front of it), and it doesn't seem to change anything. So what does it do?

Allowing it to be displayed as a sprite should give it all it's benefits:
- Objects in front of it
- Black should make areas transparent
- Pixel shaders/ink effects could modify it
That doesn't seem to be the case now though.

"Display as sprite" just displays the sub-app as a sprite over the other "sprite" objects. Actually changing the object's type at runtime is not possible, so it still acts as a windowed object. Hopefully that will be possible in MMF3.
Please, repair the download links, it doesn't work

Welcome to the forums!
Well, there's a new beta? http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=140960&page=1
I don't think there are any problems introduced in beta 4 - not sure.
