    Platform_Widgets for Platform games

Here on a handful of some platforms that I made for a platform game I was going to do. I made them so I could just drag and drop them on each frame.
I changed my graphics and used some from the LIB.
They are very basic, but I thought someone might find a use for them.

    There are 7 in total:
4 basic ones, horizontal, vertical and 2 diangle movements
2 rotating ones, horizontal, vertical movements
1 other one that I called "the train platform"

They are all commented. If you find any that may be messed up, please let me know (as I re-did them fairly quickly)
I did not do any examples (didn't think it was necessary, but i will if you want)

I have some other ones that I may post at a later date
    Cheers....Gerald

    Platform_Widgets for Platform games_V2

    UPDATES include:

Added a new Platform > Wabble_PF with 4 directions, Vert, Horz and 2 diangle directions

Added 2 diangle directions to the Rotate_PF

Added a "Bounce" feature to all the Widgets (except the Train_PF)
With this Option activated you will not have to use any detectors, etc in order to test when the PF has reached a certain height (UP or Down) or (Right or Left)
In other words you won't need any collision detections. Simply place th PF where you want it and set The "Bounce" and that's it!
The PF will continue to bounce with-in the boundries of the Bounce value you set

TIP: When using the Wabble or Rotaing PF's, experiment changing their hot spots. You can get some neat movements
(It gave me some good idea's for using these in games)

Everything is fully commented (I think.. :confused

    Enjoy (more to come)....Any Questions\comments, I'll listen!
    Gerald

Hey, sorry to dig up an old thread, but I would love to learn how these work. Could someone explain? I'm looking at the event editor, but there doesn't seem to be any events, lol. What's making them move?

Is there a way to look at this code? This is the first time I've heard of widgets, and behavior.
