Work around for windows control objects

    Hey guys,

Thought i'd upload my quick attempt at replicating edit boxes for HWA. Code is commented but should be easy to understand nonetheless. I'm sure this could be done with less events, so feel free to tidy up and reupload

    Couple of questions though...

    1) Can we not switch between Direct3D 9 and Standard at runtime?
    2) If not, how would you replicate the list view object for instance?

    Cheers,

    Steve

Very nice Steven, thanks for sharing. as for your question 1), I remember Yves saying if system can't afford DirectX 9, it would roll back to DX 8, if can't afford DX 8, it would roll back to Standard.

No problem, hopefully it may save people some time. Might be an idea if I made it in to a widget or something.

Correct. But my question was more to do with how to replicate the list view object. Would be difficult I think. Although I do have an idea.

I have found out from Yves that you can't switch between Standard and Direct 3D at runtime.
